Decision To Reverse Penalty On Moto2 Rider Marquez Appealed

Catalunya Moto2 Grand Prix – Decision of the FIM Stewards Appeal lodged by Team Pons HP 40 Tuenti/Espargaro Following the decision taken by the FIM Stewards at the Moto2 Grand Prix in Catalunya (ESP) on 3 June to cancel the sanction imposed by the Race Direction on rider Marc Márquez (Team CatalunyaCaixa Repsol), Team Pons 40 HP Tuenti lodged an appeal with the FIM International Disciplinary Court and paid the security deposit of 1 200 € within the time limit of 5 days. The International Disciplinary Court will invite Team Pons 40 HP Tuenti and rider Pol Espargaró to a hearing in due time.
