After asking about rumors that rules for the Superbike World Championship will move toward Superstock specifications starting in 2013, Roadracing World received this e-mail: Contrary to various rumors, there is no plan to change World Superbike’s successful rules structure and to make it similar to the one of the Supersport or Superstock classes. Obviously we are continuing to work in cooperation with the teams, the manufacturers and FIM in order to keep costs under control and evolve the series considering the changing market conditions, but we have no intention to reduce the appeal of the championship for manufacturers, teams, riders, media and fans.
