Jason DiSalvo to Ride a Triumph Daytona 675R at the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike Race at New Jersey Motorsports Park Millville, NJ (September 1, 2011) Former Triumph World Supersport factory racer Jason DiSalvo will return to Triumph riding a Daytona 675R in the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike class during this weekend’s season-ending races at New Jersey Motorsports Park. “I got a really good feeling for the Triumph in Europe last year, and I’ve had my eye on our team’s Daytona ever since George (Latus) and Ronnie (Saner) brought it in for Dustin to ride in SuperSport,” said DiSalvo. “Now that I have my own Daytona, I’m really looking forward to having some fun with it this weekend.” DiSalvo, of Batavia, New York, is currently third in the season point standings with three wins, including the season-opening Daytona 200, and four pole positions. “We’ve been very impressed with the Triumph’s performance this year,” said George Latus, owner of Latus Motors Racing. “Dustin’s done a fantastic job with the bike in SuperSport and we’re interested to see how Jason will do in Daytona SportBike. “I’m sure that whatever happens this weekend will make for some lively conversations in the off-season.”
