DMS Racing Team To Field Brazilian Rider Nico Ferreira In AMA Pro Superbike Championship

DMS Racing Team will debut this season in the premier class of motorcycle road racing in the U.S.A., AMA Pro Road Racing Superbike. The team, based in Miami, will continue the growth process with Brazilian rider Nico Ferreira, who took part with them in the final races of CCS 2012, with three wins and also raced in the last two rounds of the AMA Daytona Sportbike 2012. Ferreira is an experienced rider from Brazil, who settled in Malaga, Spain at age 14. He raced in several regional championships in Spain with success and in the Suzuki European Cup, before his debut in Spanish road racing championship (CEV). He also won the Interlagos-500 in 2012. Nico Ferreira (Cascavel, Brazil, 09/01/85): “My goal this season is to learn the tracks and gradually improving my results.” “We’ll race with Kawasaki ZX-10, 2013, a fast and reliable bike, which has been runner-up in World SBK and won BSB, CEV and Europe Championship.” “In addition, I also will work as sports manager of the team. We are looking for new talent in Latin American countries to join the team, the idea is that the team can be the gateway to U.S.A. for latin riders.” “Our goal is to work step by step and build a solid team, with an excellent technical staff, from the beginning.”
