Phoenix, AZ — 1/10 of a Second, is an exciting and inspirational documentary about the enigma that is Johnny Rock Page, the oldest professional motorcycle racer in the country.
After winning his first few races on the track as a young man, including a win at Daytona, Johnny ran out of money and his dream was stripped from him before it had even began. But he would stop at nothing to one day become a Professional Superbike racer and compete with the best in the country. By thirty-five years old, Johnny built a multi-million dollar company and had now set out to pursue his dream of racing. Little did he know that accomplishing what he wanted would end up costing him everything, including his family, his business, and his mind. Through the storm he finally finds out what his true purpose is in the world.
The feature film also stars world-renowned DJ Paul Oakenfold, MotoAmerica racer David Anthony, founder of Insight Enterprises Eric Crown, is directed by Kurt Kubicek and was produced by Joe Russo and Toby Lindemann. The film’s original score was composed by Conor Lynch, and also features a hit song from popular rock band Rival Sons.
Commenting on the soon to-be-released documentary, Kubicek said, “I believe the wild and eccentric existence of Johnny Rock Page is entertaining and might surprise people with a few poignant life lessons, as well as promote MotoAmerica, and what I perceive to be an incredible sport.”
Russo said, “Johnny’s story has more twists and turns than one of his races. It’s unbelievable.”
The feature film will be released and available to the public on April 28th, 2016 on both ITunes and Amazon Prime. The film’s release on Hulu and Netflix is still TBD.
