Dustin Dominguez walked away with over $7000 in prize and contingency money after turning in a four-win performance at round eight of the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association’s championship series at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, Texas, this weekend. Dominguez set the tone for the event when he ran down CMRA perennial champion Ty Howard to win his first race of the day, the South Central Race Center Superstock C Expert race, pushing his House of Kawasaki-backed ZX-6R across the line with a three-second advantage over Howard. Dominguez returned after the lunch break to add wins in the RaceworX Superstock A, Island Racing Services C Superbike, and Formula 1 races, leaving the Oklahoma resident a perfect four for four on the day. Howard wasn’t completely shut out, however, as the Argyle, Texas rider put his ZX-10R on top of the podium in the AVTEQ A Superbike race, padding his pocket with a little extra green, as well. Jon Francis ended Sunday’s sprint-racing action with three wins, after topping the Road & Track Suspension Clubman, Unlimited Motard and Lightweight Twins race, while Conner Blevins finished up with two wins, those coming in the GMAN 125 GP and the Exel Transportation Formula 2 Expert races. In the meantime, Danny Kelsey won both 750 expert races, the B Superstock and B Superbike divisions. Blake Cochran had the most wins in the Novice divisions – four in all – taking wins in the Moto Liberty Superstock C, B Superstock, B Superbike, and Ridesmart C Superbike races. Meanwhile Michael Bradshaw collected two wins on the day, those coming in the Formula 40 heavyweight and heavyweight Twins races. During CMRA endurance action, Moto-Ace Racing made it three wins in a row with a dominating performance in Saturday’s big bike endurance race. The GSXR1000-mounted team, consisting of Cory Burleson, Derek Wagnon, Joe Prussiano, Jeremy Kidd, and Clint Shobert, finished the four-hour race with a six-lap margin of victory over similarly mounted WFO!!!Komodo (Wayne Wilder, Ottis Lance, Danny Kelsey). GMAN Racing (Michael Guillot, Garet Tomlinson, Harry Tomlinson) finished third overall on a Kawasaki ZX-10R, while CSCarey Racing (Chris Carey, Greg Anderson, Matt Hall, Brent Wood, Gus Carey) and Big Gas Racing (Matt Lincoln, Scott Buckley, Brad Kelly, Alan Phillips, Gabe McClendon) rounded out the top five. The CMRA Formula Mini Endurance race was won by No Homeless (Frank Shacklee, Mark Niemi, Susette Dupuis, Ronnie Hay), finishing 144 laps in the three-hour race. Team Von Schlechten Lebern (Keith Hertell, Jess Foltz, Nick Montonaro) finished second overall and on the same lap as the leads, with eurtoast (Alan Phillips, Zeb Harris, Chase Barnes, Brandon Warren) taking third just one lap back. The CMRA returns to action on September 26-27 for round nine of its series at Oak Hill Raceway in Henderson, Texas. RESULTS: RACEWORX SUPERSTOCK A EXPERT: 1. Dustin Dominguez (Kaw ZX-10R); 2.
