Members of the Yamaha R1 and R6 Forums raised over $2000 for the Roadracing World Action Fund at their annual track day event, as Forum member Benjamin White (Goobr) describes: “On February 28 and March 1, 2009, the Yamaha R1 and R6 Forums had our annual “Elvis Warrior Memorial Track Day” in remembrance of our fallen forum brothers. The ride was stretched out over the entire weekend this year at JenningsGP in Jennings, Florida. As everyone rode (throughout) the weekend Glenn and Chad were in the hearts and minds of everyone that attended. Glenn and Chad’s families both asked us to donate our proceeds to the charity of our choice. We could think of nothing better than to what Glenn and Chad loved to do most, road racing! Both would love that fact that they could enhance safety and to help save lives when track mishaps happen. Please accept our humble donation in the amount of $2336.12, in the remembrance of Glenn Breaux (ElvisWarrior) and Chad Clifton(GaWarrior). We love them and miss them so much. Thank you and we appreciate you providing such a wonderful service for all us riders.”

Businesses who donate regularly to the Roadracing World Action Fund include Bob Robbins/Team S-Works, who donated $950, which included 100% of the 2008 AMA season proceeds from the sale of team shirts to Triumph 675 enthusiasts. Robbins/S-Works has now donated a grand total of $3000 to the Action Fund. Max McAllister’s Traxxion Dynamic’s latest contribution of $1000 brings its total donated to $10,500 since 2001.
