Winners of the 2012 SBK Organiser and Media Awards Rome (Italy), 31st October 2012 – Infront Motor Sports announces that the winner of the 2012 Superbike Organiser Award is the Donington Park circuit in the UK. From a promotional, logistical and sporting point of view, the circuit guaranteed the required standards that helped the entire Superbike paddock work in the best possible way in 2012. This recognition rewards the work of a professional and motivated staff. Paolo Flammini, CEO of Infront Motor Sports, declared: “I would like to express my warmest and sincerest congratulations to the Donington Park circuit management and all its staff, who did a great job in 2012 and who demonstrated that the circuit was the best overall of the 2012 eni FIM Superbike World Championship from an organisation point of view”. In addition the 2012 Superbike Media Award has been assigned to the Assen TT circuit in the Netherlands for its facilities and services that enabled media to carry out their activities in the best possible way and for the overall running of the press centre. In 2013 the provisional date for the UK Round of the FIM Superbike World Championship at Donington Park is May 26, while the Dutch Round at Assen is scheduled for April 28.
