Dorna, Local Government Working To Secure Future Of MotoGP At Brno

Joint statement from Dorna and South Moravian Region

Dorna Sports S.L. and the South Moravian Region have declared common interest in the future of the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic (MotoGP™), with the participation of Automotodrom Brno, a.s.

Dorna Sports S.L. appreciates the help of the South Moravian Region and the Government of the Czech Republic with the payment of the 2014 event fee.

This week’s working meeting is the beginning of negotiations on safeguarding the MotoGP event in Brno over the coming years. Both parties consider as the most suitable next step holding a meeting in Brno with the participation of Dorna Sports S.L., the South Moravian Region and the circuit operator, Automotodrom Brno, a.s.
