Dear Moto Friends: It is with great pleasure that I announce today to all our moto friends around the world the sale of Double Dog Moto assets to our good friends at Bellissimoto. Randy and Lyle have been great customers of Double Dog Moto over the years, and it made a lot more sense to put the brand in their care after I moved to France in 2012 to pursue my other long term engineering interests. My team in San Francisco did their very best to keep the business running smoothly, and I thank them for all their efforts, but with their limited time and resources it was an uphill battle to keep customers happy with the service levels they expect and deserve. The kind of service levels Bellissimoto is highly respected for. The Double Dog Moto innovations are still very popular all around the world with riders serious about high performance. There’s nothing quite like our Alpha Dog exhausts, structural carbon fibre monocoque tails and Quadratic rearsets, and these great products deserve a better home. Thus, effective immediately, the Double Dog Moto company is closed for business, and all inventory and brand assets transferred to Bellissimoto. Existing orders will be transferred to Bellissimoto or refunded, and all future Double Dog Moto product orders must be made through Bellissimoto. Though I’m busy with my (unrelated) engineering business in France, I’m still crazy about superbikes and developing the best products of their kind to make these awesome machines even lighter and faster. So I’ll be helping the Bellissimoto team to develop more Double Dog Moto innovations in the coming months and years and they will be adding their own locally manufactured innovations to quickly grow the Double Dog Moto brand. I want to sincerely thank all our past and present customers and industry friends for your years of support and patience during this transition.
