From a press release forwarded by Cycle Scene Magazine:

Henry DeGouw of CCS Florida announced today (September 17) that the October 2-3 Moroso race will be a double points event.

This was done to make up for the race that was cancelled at Jennings due to Hurricane Frances.

“I haven’t been getting my mail for two weeks because there are still powerlines down in my neighborhood,” said DeGouw. “Hopefully, the extra time between races will give everybody a chance to get caught up on their home repairs and get back to a sense of normalcy.

“The Jennings event that was cancelled was going to be huge, too bad we all had to suffer from the unusual weather this summer,” DeGouw added.
