More, from a press release issued by Red Bull-KTM:
Despite the sunny day at Le Mans, KTM riders didn’t manage to improve their yesterday time. Stoner finished 18th, 13th in the combined practice; Kallio 21st, 20th in the combined practice. The pole position is going to the Italian Andrea Dovizioso.
Stoner – I just crashed…My biggest problem today was my injured shoulder: this afternoon it was even worst than this morning even if I had a pain killer injection before the qualifying practice. I think that tomorrow it will be very hard to be competitive as I can be, but I’ll try my best!
Kallio – I couldn’t find a good feeling with the bike, even if there is not something wrong in particular. We change the setting we had this morning, trying to improve the results but it was worst. Therefore tomorrow we will go back to the solution I had before.
Bartol – Of course I’m not really happy with the today results: both riders didn’t managed to finished in the front rows. Mika was one second slower than this morning and Casey crashed again.
