Changes in the Board of Management of Ducati Motor Holding

•Andrea Buzzoni to take over new tasks within the Group and leaving as Global Sales and Marketing Director

•Responsibility for Global Sales and After Sales assigned to Francesco Milicia

•Federico Sabbioni to become Director Supply Chain

Borgo Panigale, Bologna, 22 October 2018 – Ducati Motor Holding announces that as from 1 October 2018, Andrea Buzzoni leaves as Global Sales and Marketing Director and that two new management divisions have been set up within the Board of Management: Global Sales and After Sales, to be managed by Francesco Milicia, and Marketing and Community, with Claudio Domenicali as the interim Director.

The two new Management divisions are meant to replace the position held so far by Andrea Buzzoni. As Sales and Marketing Director, Buzzoni has contributed to the sales records of Ducati in the three years from 2015 to 2017, implementing the global strategy of qualitative and quantitative growth of sales and optimizing the marketing processes in the mid and long term. Furthermore, he has coordinated the launch and consolidation of the new Scrambler Brand and has strengthened the positioning and sales in the high-end supersport segment.

Ducati wishes to thank Andrea Buzzoni, who will stay in the Volkswagen Group and whose new task will be communicated shortly, for his contribution during the past four years.

Milicia, 43, who has a degree in mechanical engineering, after starting his career in 1999 at Ducati in the area of Operations, moved to China in 2005 with the Ariston group, first as Managing Director of Thermowatt, then, from 2009, as Managing Director of Elco Italia. In 2012, he rejoined Ducati to be the Managing Director of Ducati Motor Thailand. Having returned to Italy in 2015, he joined the Board of Management of Ducati as Supply Chain Director (Purchasing and Logistics).

Federico Sabbioni will also become, in his new function, a member of the Board of Management and will cover the position previously held by Francesco Milicia.

Sabbioni, 41, joined Ducati in 2002 after his graduation in mechanical engineering and built professional experience within the Company in the Product Development field, first in R&D as a Project Engineer, then in Project Management, until he became Head of Vehicle Project Management for some of the most strategic product families of the Ducati range (Multistrada, Scrambler and Hypermotard).

The Board of Management of Ducati Motor Holding now includes: Claudio Domenicali (President), Silvano Fini (Plant Director), Andrea Forni (Research and Development), Francesco Milicia (Global Sales and After Sales), Federico Sabbioni (Supply Chain), Oliver Stein (Finance, Controlling and IT) and Luigi Torlai (Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility).
