SO CAL DUCATI MOTOR CLUB TO HOST FIRST ANNUAL BBQ BENEFITING WINGS FOR LIFE AND LEEP JUNE 25 SoCalDMC Ducati, Red Bull USA and the Santa Monica Police Department Encourage Southern California Motorcycle Enthusiasts to Ride for a Good Cause Santa Monica, CA. The So Cal Ducati Motor Club announced today that it will host the first annual Desmo Owners Club Benefit BBQ to raise funds and awareness for the Wings for Life Spinal Cord Research Foundation and the Law Enforcement Explorer Post (LEEP) on June 25. Hosted by the SoCalDMC in collaboration with Red Bull USA and the Santa Monica Police Department, the Desmo Owners Club Benefit BBQ recognizes the importance youth programs and its affect on local communities. The event kicks off at 11 AM in Red Bull’s parking lot located at 1740 Stewart Street in Santa Monica. Delicious BBQ, live music, a Concorso D’eleganza competition for vintage motorcycles and Ducatis ensure that there is something for everyone. Open classes include a dexterity course demonstration hosted by SMPD Moto and a suspension clinic hosted by certified Ducati mechanic, Mauro. Ducati enthusiasts and locals alike are encouraged to participate in the raffle for the chance to win prizes such as an AGV K3Rossi Celebr8 helmet, Dainese Racing Tex jacket, and a “Rent a Ducati” free day rental, among other items.
