Ducati Dallas Hosts Demo Day With Appearance By Pierre Terblanche

To celebrate an awesome year with Ducati, Advanced Motorsports and Ducati North America invite you to celebrate Saturday October 7th and Sunday October 8th at Ducati Dallas for a weekend of Italian events. The weekend will include a special appearance by the famous Ducati designer Pierre Terblanche and Transcontinental record holder Gary Egan. They will both speak about their love, passions and experiences with Ducati. Pierre will speak on the 999R XEROX AND HYPERMOTARD, which was awarded the “World’s Most Beautiful Motorcycle” by The International Panel of Judges in Milan 26 April 2006. After a careful examination, the jury presented two of the awards to Ducati models. The Sport Touring editors of Cycle World recognize the Multistrada 1000S as one of the ten best bikes of 2005 and the Ducati Paul Smart Replica 1000 nominated in 2006 Best New Nostalgia Bike category. This will be a very exclusive and special event that will bring Bologna, Italy deep into the heart of Dallas, Texas. The day will delight patrons with food, drink, music, presentations and the Ducati Demo Truck for customers to try the latest in Ducati technology in a lead follow ride around Downtown Dallas. A Special appearance by the NCR Millona! Each Millona is hand made and produced on demand giving a highly customizable product to the customer. Bikes are produced on “operative work zone” following a progressive process that allows NCR to give to its customers schedule information about the work in progress. This “continuous updating” about work in progress give NCR’s customers the chance to stay tuned about the realization of his personal “2 wheel jewel”. The aim of NCR is matching advanced technology processes with high hand made quality. So bring your bikes for autographs, enjoy special presentations Italian style. The weekend promises wonder and excitement that you expect from Ducati. Schedule for the October 7th Event at Ducati Dallas 1318 N. Industrial Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75207 10:00 am – Special Invitation only meet with Pierre and Gary. 12:00-noon – Doors open to the public. 12:30 pm – Lunch and drinks served 12:30 pm – Demo rides begin 1:00 pm – Pierre’s presentation 2:30 pm – Ducati Fashion Show 3:30 pm – Gary’s presentation 4:00 pm – Jeff Nash will perform technical seminars for the 999 5:00 pm – Get ready for a day at the track- rest up! The following day we will have an exclusive track day for European riders only at the renowned Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, Texas. Each participant will receive expert instruction and six sessions of track time to hone their technical riding skills, all in the company of fellow Ducati enthusiasts. The October 8th Track day will accommodate all riders, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced rider, classroom instruction and track sessions are customized to fit your comfort level. From 10 mph to 110 mph, ride at your own pace.
