NPR Ducati unveiling of the New Ducati Diavel at the Terrapin Brewery! Athens, GA. The Diavel went down to Georgia Saturday night at the local watering hole with your riding buddies. You hear it before you see it, aggressive and moving fast. Creating as much attention as the bike is the lettering on the side, “Ducati Diavel”. The beast roars past as you take the next few minutes to retrieve your jaw from the floor. The all new Ducati Diavel rebels against the status quo: fiercely redefining your idea of a motorcycle. NPR Ducati will celebrate the brand new Diavel by hosting a launch with our friends at the remarkable Terrapin Brewery on Newton Bridge Road in Athens, GA on Friday, March 25. Gift bags and a raffle for a Ducati Performance Jacket will be given out to the first 100 people to attend. Souvenir Terrapin glasses, along with drink tickets will be sold. The Diavel represents Ducati’s first stride into the world of cruisers in over a generation. Influence for the bike is derived from Ducati’s world class GP superbike heritage. The athletic, futuristic styling of the Diavel creates a bike unlike the motorcycling community has ever seen. However, attempting to classify the Diavel as a cruiser would do injustice to the highest power to weight ratio in the class and legendary Ducati handling. The physique of the bike maximizes rider and passenger comfort, without compromising visibility. The Diavel’s 463 lb. “muscular yet light” frame sports an 11° Testrastretta engine yielding 162 hp and 94 lb-ft of torque! A colossal 240mm rear tire specifically designed by Pirelli finishes the longest wheelbase Ducati to date. However, perhaps the most notable features on the Diavel can be seen in its state of the art technology. LED lights and a hands free start up system only add to the external presentation. Riders gain independence through three riding modes, each one with proven Ducati Traction Control, aided by the Ducati Safety Pack Brembo Brakes with ABS. Whether you’re a Ducati enthusiast or a die-hard cruiser rider, one thing is for sure, the performance of the Diavel won’t disappoint. Be sure to come out to Terrapin on March 25 to help NPR Ducati show off the Diavel to the Georgia motorcycling community. The only exclusive Ducati experience in Georgia, NPR Ducati has been serving the motorcycling community around Atlanta and North Georgia faithfully for years since being awarded National and International Best New Dealer in 2007.
