Ducati’s Dovizioso Injures Knee In Crash During Testing At Misano

Ducati Team concludes one day of testing at Misano World Circuit

The Ducati Team wrapped up one day of scheduled testing this afternoon at the Misano World Circuit, in preparation for the San Marino and the Riviera di Rimini GP which will be held at the Romagna circuit from 9 to 11 September.

The two factory Ducati riders lapped at length with their Desmosedici GP machines in perfect weather conditions, with clear skies and air/track temperatures of 28°/45°.

Andrea Dovizioso concluded with 93 laps to his name, the best of which in 1’33.195, but he ended the day with a crash at Turn 4 in which he twisted his right knee, while Andrea Iannone did a total of 59 laps, setting a quickest time of 1’33.115.
