Motorcycle racing memorabilia, collected by the late Brad Haynes, will go on auction this week with half of the proceeds going to the Roadracing World Action Fund, a charity the former Ducshop partner supported. Dozens of collectible artwork and photographs, many signed by the riders and all professionally mounted, will be auctioned. A Ducati enthusiast and all-round motorcycle racing nut, Brad’s walls were lined with limited edition prints and autographed photos of racing champions like Scott Russell, Carl Fogarty, Troy Corser, Pier Francesco Chili and, of course, Valentino Rossi – one of only two non-Ducati riders Brad loved. The auction began Tuesday, April 21 and goes for seven days.
Go to the auction here: ~http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/ducshop998~ Ducshop hopes to raise enough money to have an entire section of fence dedicated to Brad’s memory. This is the second eBay auction Ducshop has conducted in Brad’s honor. The first raised over $500 with 100% of the funds going to the Action Fund. This one will not only help benefit the Fund, it will help with the final expenses of closing his estate. Brad Haynes was not only an avid racing enthusiast he was a perfectionist and these collectibles are beautifully frames and in immaculate condition. Anyone with a love of racing history, especially Ducati racing, should check out this auction. Ducshop will miss its presence almost as much as they miss Brad’s. And that’s a lot!
