Ducshop Performance Center is once again offering a range of MotoGP, World SBK and AMA signed collectibles in its annual charity auction. This year’s auction will be divided into two parts the first an Ebay auction that started Friday Jan 26, and the second a silent auction at the opening of its new shop in March and as always, the money raised will go to support surgical eye camps in Tibet. Ebay items include signed Yoshimura and Austin Ducati team gear; autographed knee pucks, gloves and visor from Troy Corser; caps signed by Hodgson, Schwantz, Mladin and Bostrom and other signed MotoGP memorabilia. Similar items, including a Yamaha cap signed by Valentino Rossi, will be auctioned when the new Ducshop store is opening at 955 Industrial Park Drive, Marietta GA 30062 on March 10. Ducshop will donate 95% of all money collected to the Tibet Fund to assist a camp for the blind in Tibet. Each winner will then receive a copy of the receipt to show proof of the donation. The decision was made to conduct the auction this way, instead of using Ebay’s Mission Fish, to ensure the maximum money is given to the Tibet Fund. This is Ducshop’s third charity auction for the Tibet Fund. So far the Performance Center has raised over $8,900.00. The Ebay auction can be found at ~http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZducshop998~ Thanks go to Peter Doyle, Tim and Tenley Robinson, Phil Aynsley, Chris Jenzen, Sheri Russell and Richard Boyd for their help collecting the items.
