Motorcycle-Superstore.com Hosts Dunk Tank for MotoGP Air Fence Fund
Motorcycle-Superstore.com aims to raise $2000 in charity at the Red Bull GP at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to support air fence technology.
Medford, OR – Motorcycle-Superstore.com will be making a splash this weekend at the Red Bull MotoGP Race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with their first “Dunk and Save” charity event. In an attempt to raise over $2000 for the Roadracing World Action Fund (Air Fence Fund), Motorcycle-Superstore.com is setting up a dunk tank at their booth where racing fans will have the opportunity to take their best shot at a bikini model and top racers.
“I’m psyched to make a splash for a good cause! Laguna Seca rocks my socks off!” says bikini model, Britt Shelstad, who’s excited to be dunked all weekend.
The fun doesn’t stop there; a handful of pro GP riders will be showing up to do their part as well. Chris Fillmore, Huntley Nash, Russ Wikle, Joey Pascarella and Bobby Fong are all GP racers willing to do their part for the Air Fence Charity by climbing into the dunk tank. Roadracing World Action Fund (Air Fence Fund) will be at the track promoting Motorcycle Safety Education as well as encouraging people to get by the Motorcycle-Superstore.com booth to “Dunk and Save.” Fans can buy one shot at the dunk tank for a dollar or eight shots for five dollars.
“When you’re in the motorcycle industry and a part of the racing community, one thing becomes very apparent and that’s how thankful we are for Air Fencing. We’d like to see Air Fencing on every track for every venue, so we’re excited to do our part in helping to raise some money for a great cause that saves lives,” says Sequoyah Munroe, Promotional Coordinator for Motorcycle-Superstore.com. “We’ve had a lot of positive feedback so far, I think a dunk tank at Laguna will be a lot of fun.”
