Great things were expected from this rising star, and boy did he deliver! All season the youngster brought home win after win in WERA sprint races, rode in a team effort to an Endurance win, at NJMP won his first ever AMA Pro race (the first ever to win their first AMA Pro race and the youngest ever to win an AMA Pro race), and to cap off the year, Gerloff added two more race wins culminating in a Championship and runner-up (by just a few points) at last weekend’s WERA GNF at Road Atlanta. The kid and his Yamaha R6 are unstoppable! “I was super happy to finish off the year strong with two race wins and a championship,” said Gerloff, “This year has been a blast and I learned a lot. I am really looking forward to racing in the AMA next year.
