Dunlop to title Sponsor the 2021 N2 National Endurance Series by Dunlop; Series purse over $100,000.
Media, PA – N2 Track Days is proud to announce a multi-year agreement that will make Dunlop Motorcycle Tires the title sponsor of the N2 National Endurance Series. The series will consist of five rounds that will include the 4-Hour National Endurance Series Race and a 2-Hour Ultralight Endurance Race. The series will be officiated by WERA Motorcycle Road Racing and each event will have a N2 Track Day [on] the day leading up [to] the event.
“N2’s mission is to grow the sport of motorcycling in America, and to do that, we need great partners like Dunlop,” said N2 CEO Robert Cichielo. “We continue to develop our platform through N2 Track Days, advanced training based on Yamaha Champions Riding School, the Bridge program with NJMiniGP, and growing the N2 National Endurance Series, which has filled a big void in road racing. Our platform provides newer riders with a place to learn while creating a path to the highest levels of road racing in America. N2 Racing is now competing at the top-of-the-heap as a premier team in MotoAmerica. This partnership with Dunlop is a big step toward achieving this goal. Together, we are putting up a cash purse of well over $100,000 for a five-round National Endurance Series in 2021.”
The five rounds are tentatively planned to be held at Roebling Road Raceway in Georgia, Summit Point in West Virginia, Carolina Motorsports Park in South Carolina, Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Pennsylvania, and Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama. WERA will be officiating each Saturday Endurance event with a N2 Track Day on each Friday and WERA sprint races on Sunday. The complete schedule with specific dates will be out soon.
There are very few companies as dedicated to the North American motorcycle market as the Dunlop Motorcycle team. Dunlop designs and manufacturers many of their popular tires such as the Sportmax Q3+, the Sportmax Q4, and their race slicks right here in North America at the Buffalo, NY facility. Dunlop not only designs and builds these tires in North America, but they also test them at their world class testing facility in Huntsville, AL. Dunlop has also been a huge supporter of American road racing with more national championships than all other tire companies combined. The N2 National Endurance Series is the perfect series to showcase Dunlop’s performance and durability.
“We are extremely excited to partner with N2 Track days and to sponsor the N2 National Endurance Series,” said Dunlop Director of Sales, Rob Montasser. “We have had our eyes on the N2 organization for quite a while, and we cannot be happier to form this partnership in an effort to help achieve our mutual goal of growing the sport of motorcycling.”
There will be many more announcements coming soon concerning specifics on event dates, classes, rule changes, events schedules and purse payout.
