Dunlop/Race Tire Service to Sponsor CMRA in a Big Way
Dunlop/Race Tire Service has stepped up to sponsor the Team 60 Heavyweight, Middleweight, and Lightweight classes, paying $150 in race entry vouchers to the top three finishing teams in each class.
The Team 60 classes are a very popular tag team style race with a LeMans-style start and run on Saturday’s schedule at the end of the day. The first round is slated for May 16, 2015, at CMRA’s First Annual Westby Classic, at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit in Hallett, Oklahoma.
Steve Brubaker, president of Race Tire Service, Dunlop’s National Distributor said, “Racers like to race because it’s fun, and the Team 60 race is a fun race. But they’re still racing, and when you’re racing, you need the right equipment and the right tires to be competitive. That’s why this is a perfect match for Dunlop to support this platform.
