Dunlop’s Race Tire Service Names New Trackside Representative For North Central Region

Race Tire Service has named Raymond “Alex” Bird as their NEW North Central region Trackside Service Representative. Alex will provide DUNLOP tire sales, service and technical support to all of the NELSON LEDGES, BEAVER RUN, GRATTAN and MID OHIO club races for CCS, WERA and Moto Series (Fasttrax). Alex Bird has been on the racing scene for over 10 years, working with racers such as Todd Keesee, Shawn Conrad and others as a race mechanic. He has been on the DUNLOP AMA National fitting crew for the last 4 years, working at over 25 AMA National events, and on the Dunlop fitting crew for the MotoGP at Indianapolis for the last 2 years. “Only the best get to be on that crew.” said Steve Brubaker, President of Race Tire Service, “Alex is a hard worker and he has that drive that makes you want to have him on your team.” In 2006, Alex started at Race Tire Service, bringing his wealth of trackside experience to the team. “I am enthusiastic and passionate about racing” said Alex Bird, “There is no greater satisfaction than working with a rider, and then seeing him go out and turn his best times”. With this latest addition to the Dunlop team, Race Tire Service will have 100% service coverage on every AMA, ASRA, CCS, WERA and Moto Series (Fasttrax) event east of the Mississippi.
