EBC’s new GPFAX brake pads are for hard-core racing use only–the company says that the pads will last for four to five race events of 25 laps each, and brake discs must be cleaned with a fine abrasive prior to the pad being used. The pads also must be broken in carefully. However, when used properly, the company says the pads deliver a massive increase in performance over even its previous GPFA race pads, and also deliver a more consistent performance from session to session.
