Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation
East Troy, Wis. (February 19, 2014) – EBR, the new American sport motorcycle company, was recently awarded a Global Business Development Program grant from the Madison-based Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. The East Troy-based organization will utilize the grant to attend Motodays Fiera Roma, one of Europe’s largest motorcycle trade shows.
The March 6-9 event is held in Rome, Italy, and is one of the premier European trade shows for motorcycle enthusiasts. Leadership from EBR will travel from Wisconsin to Rome in early March to promote the new EBR product line and expand its dealer network across Europe
“This grant allows our team to meet with key stakeholders across Europe,” said Erik Buell, president and CEO of EBR. “We know the passion in Europe for sport motorcycles continues to grow, and our goal in attending this show is to ultimately expand our dealer footprint in the region.”
The grant program is designed to help Wisconsin-based companies lay the foundation for new export strategies or build upon existing export programs. For more information on the program, visit www.inwisconsin.com.
