From a press release issued by EDR Performance: EDR Performance, the Northwest’s premier motorcycle performance center is proud to be the founding sponsor of the Pacific NW Road Racing Challenge. The Challenge is open for all OMRRA and WMRRA racers and is aimed at getting more interaction between the two clubs. OMRRA and WMRRA are lucky in that both tracks are within 2 hours of each other and both have impressive grids and talent. With a $2000 purse, put up by EDR, OMRRA and WMRRA, this will prove to be a fun and lucrative addition to the menu of road racing in the Northwest. EDR Performance’s Eric Dorn says “For years I’ve wanted to see more inter club racing. The fast WMRRA guys coming to battle with OMRRA racers, and the fast OMRRA guys showing up at WMRRA. We figured that with an incentive of some kind, the racers might really enjoy a change in venue and competition as well as helping to benefit both clubs. We’re really excited to be a part of this.” On top of the great overall payout, EDR Performance is going to pay an additional $250 cash to any EDR Performance sponsored rider that wins the championship. The rules are basic. Your overall championship points from both clubs will be added to generate your finishing position in the PNWRRC. So if you say have 157 OMRRA Championship points, and 182 WMRRA Championship points, you would have 339 PNWRRC points. Entry is free, but you must register by the second race weekend at either club. Entry forms will be available at registration at both WMRRA and OMRRA events. No protests will be heard other than for administrative mistakes in the adding of your points. All rules for each club apply for each event respectively. The contacts for this series are Bradford Duval at OMRRA ([email protected]) and Allister MacKinnon at WMRRA ( [email protected] ). EDR Performance is a full service motorcycle tuning specialist, located in Portland Oregon. With an impressive resume of nearly 100 class championships, multiple #1 overall championships, several national championships as well as boasting a complete menu of engine building and tuning using their state of the art Dyno, EDR Performance can handle all of your motorcycle performance needs.
