Two-time World Superbike champion, Colin Edwards announces a “KTM Cup” kids ONLY three-day Texas Tornado Boot Camp.

Scheduled for November 27-29, this special (invitation-only) camp is intended to improve the skills of the young racers in this specific MotoAmerica class. The three-day camp will be free of charge and limited to twenty-five riders due to the amount of space and equipment.

“These kids are tied to KTM and I’m tied in with YAMAHA,” says Edwards. “However, it’s not about YAMAHA or KTM; this is about the kids… the future of our sport. I’m doing all I can do to get these kids to the Boot Camp, teach them what we know, teach them what we can and see where the talent is… to see how we can groom them.”

Edwards, as an ambassador to the sport, is flying to England this coming weekend to support his American racers in the RC Cup World Final at Silverstone, October 2-4. The RC Cup Final will run in conjunction with the British Superbike Championship series.

“My trip to Silverstone to support the kids is simply that. I’m going to support our future. They are going to a track that I know very well. Actually, it’s a track where I had my last MotoGP podium so everyone thought it was a good idea for me to head over there and support them.” – Colin Edwards

Texas Tornado Boot Camp will send an email this week with registration information to all KTM Cup/MotoAmerica competitors with details on the private three-day camp.
