After finishing fifth in points in the 2015 MotoAmerica SuperBike series, Elena, the only woman to win a professional motorsports race at Daytona International Speedway, shifted gears in her career. When Elena decided not to race in the upcoming MotoAmerica season, she was looking for opportunities to remain involved with the industry. It quickly became clear that if she wasn’t going to race, Elena would be a great asset to the McGraw Powersports sales team.
“Elena is a great spokesperson for our brand, she has credibility in the industry and brings the right experience to our service contract business with our dealerships” said John Chu, chief executive officer of McGraw Powersports.
Elena will be responsible for managing the McGraw Powersports dealership network in the Northwest.
Elena noted, “I’m very excited about my new role with McGraw Powersports. Working with McGraw last year on my racing program, I really enjoyed being an advocate for the company. I was looking for a career separate from racing and I’m excited for this new challenge which keeps me very much involved in the motorcycle world.”
Recently married, Elena and her husband Dean Court will be moving from Georgia back to her home in California and will be starting in the field March 1st.
