Elena Myers To Run Her Own Team For The 2015 MotoAmerica Season

American female road racing sensation and twice AMA Pro Supersport race winner Elena Myers, will start her own racing team in 2015, dubbed “Team21Motosport” in the newly formed MotoAmerica National Road Racing series. Going on her 6th season as a professional racer, and being the only female to ever win a pro motorcycle road race in the United States, Elena feels the time is right for her to start a new chapter in her career. With the emergence of this newly formed racing organization here in the U.S., the future looks bright for this exceptional talent and fan favorite.

Elena,
“I’m really excited to start this new venture in my career. The timing is right and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I know it will be tough; I have a lot to learn and a lot to prepare for, but I have some support from my current sponsors and an incredible amount of support from my many Facebook fans! When asked about the significance of the name “Team21Motosport”, I tell people that it’s all about partnerships and working together for a common goal. Being a female, I believe I offer a unique opportunity and perspective for not only sponsors and supporters, but to the fans and the sport as a whole. We need more females in the sport and I believe I have shown that through hard work, dedication, and a never-give-up attitude, that I can achieve whatever it is I set my mind to. But again, it takes a “Team” and that’s what this new venture is all about. I’m starting to put some of the pieces together right now and the current plan is to race in the new MotoAmerica Supersport class (machinery still yet to be determined) but one thing is for sure, you can count on seeing my new team lining up at the first race in Texas with MotoGP”!

About Elena:
Elena Myers is the only female in the history of AMA Pro Road Racing to ever win a professional level race with her 2010 Supersport victory at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California. She also hails as the only female to win a motorsports race of any kind on the high banks of the world-renowned Daytona International Speedway with her stunning supersport win in 2012. Elena offers a very unique opportunity for sponsors as she continues to be a huge draw for motorsport fans, and especially the media at large. Through information provided by Hookit, which compiles athletes around the globe who interact with their fans via FaceBook, Twitter and through Instagram, Elena now carries the distinction of being 10th in the world of motorcycle road racing’s “Most popular interactive athletes”. Elena shares this distinction with names like Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez, to name just a couple.

Elena is currently seeking Partners/Sponsors to help support this new endeavor. If you or your company would like more information, please send all inquiries to [email protected]
