Energica: new factoring agreement with General Finance S.p.A.

Modena, September 16th 2020

Energica Motor Company, leading company of high-performing electric motorcycle and FIM Enel MotoE World Cup single manufacturer for three years, signed new factoring agreement with General Finance S.p.A. to finance the dealer network.

The Italian company currently has more than 70 dealers worldwide, of which half have been engaged in the last 12 months. The agreement is strategic for the development of the Company’s business, as it gives official dealers and distributors – which are present in 18 countries around the world – the opportunity to purchase Energica motorcycles with extended payment terms, and therefore allowing them to display the products in their showrooms for longer, optimizing the working capital management.

“Factoring is an important financial tool in all companies operating in the motorcycle and
automotive sector. Energica has reached a critical mass of volumes to require this kind of support”, says Giacomo Leone, Energica Sales & Field Marketing Director.

“The rapid growth of Energica in the last year needs to be fed constantly in order to improve and speed up investments in production, sales and marketing areas”, continues Leone.

“Offering this kind of financial instrument with the support of a financial institution operating in the motorcycling market, will give us the opportunity to be even more attractive to new potential partners”.
