England’s Suzuki GSX-R Trophy Hosting Test, Sign-up Day At Mallory Park

From a press release issued by Suzuki GSX-R Trophy Press Office: If lining up on the grid and waiting for the start lights is something that you have always dreamt of doing then now is the time to make your racing aspirations come true with the ACU Suzuki GSX-R Trophy. The ACU is holding an open day at Mallory Park in Leicestershire on the 19th February to encourage new riders to sign up to the challenging 10-round Championship. John Reynolds, three times British Superbike Champion and Ambassador for the GSX-R Trophy will be there. He will be more than happy to chat to any potential racers giving advice and encouragement where needed. Anyone who isn’t already registered to take part in the GSX-R Trophy will be entered into a prize draw and could walk away from the open day with a set of Dunlop GP race tyres and a set of Dainese race gloves. Riders who are already signed for the Championship will be taking to the track so you can check out the potential competition as well as chatting to riders who competed in 2007. The GSX-R Trophy offers the following package for £12,900 (incl VAT):- * Suzuki GSX-R600 K8 * A pair of Dunlop tyres * Your entry fee paid for each round * Race transponder * Back protector, gloves, boots and Dainese Leathers * Two rounds at Donington Park British MotoGP * Wild card opportunities at World Superbikes in the GSX-R750 Cup * Championship winner gets to race the Rizla Suzuki British Superbike at the Race of the Year For more details or an application form contact the ACU Road Race department on 01788 566405.
