EPIC Track Days First Motorcycles to visit newest NW Race Track EPIC Track Days was invited out by Rod Powell, owner of the newest race track in the country, The Ridge Motorsports Park, to come out and be the first motorcycle to turn a wheel on the newly paved race track. The Ridge had recently completed laying the base layer of the course on November 7th, signaling to the motorsports community that the facility is for real! Nico Tomacelli, Principal Owner EPIC Track Days said, “I just want to thank Rod for the opportunity to come out and be the first motorcycle to turn a wheel on the newly paved Ridge Motorsports Park. The race track is phenomenal. With over 500′ of elevation change, it is a roller coaster ride that leaves you with an ear to ear smile. From the uphill section of Turns 2, 3, and 4 all the way through the many turns on the upper section of the course, concluding with the drop through what will soon be famous “Ridge”, which is a left, right drop that is similar to the infamous Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. The track is flowing, yet very technical. I was aboard my Suzuki GSX-R1000 and all I can say is WOW. This thing is going to be fast! We’re really excited for our customers to come out in the 2012 season and experience this track, it’s going to be EPIC!!!” EPIC Track Days has four events scheduled for the 2012 season.
