Racer Eric Bostrom told a group of motorcycle dealership employees that he is retiring from motorcycle racing to run a mango and orange farm in Brazil, and that he may raise Tilapia fish in a lake on the property. Bostrom made the remarks Wednesday night at a Dave & Buster’s restaurant in Irvine, California during a buffet dinner hosted by Shoei for invited representatives from area dealerships. “It was bizarre,” said one attendee. “It’s hard to tell if he was serious, he was pretty lit when he said it.” At post time Eric Bostrom had not yet returned a cell phone message seeking comment.
