Josh Hayes, Jake Holden, and Danny Eslick will Join Mladin at this year’s 2008 Seattle 100 Presented by 2Fast Motorcycle Track Days & Instruction What do Mat Mladin, Ben Spies, Jake Zemke, Jason DiSalvo, Josh Hayes, Danny Eslick, Jason Pridmore, Jake Holden, Aaron Yates and Aaron Gobert all have in common besides the fact that they’re all motorcycle racing superstars? They’ve all supported the Seattle 100 charity track day event put on by 2Fast Motorcycle Track Days & Instruction (www.2-fast.org), a Northwest fundraising event now in its sixth year. The 2006 Seattle 100 grossed $108,000 while the 2007 event with Ben Spies in attendance grossed an incredible $148,000, the proceeds of each event benefiting the NephCure Foundation (www.nephcure.org) in order to help children fighting kidney disease. With Mladin headlining the event on July 26th at Seattle’s Pacific Raceways (www.pacificraceways.com), this year’s Seattle 100 is shaping up to be another six figure contribution to NephCure’s research efforts. “Having Mladin join us this year is such a huge honor,” said the event’s biggest fundraiser to date, Corey Rastetter, who’s also a staff member of 2Fast. “Spies, Eslick, and Holden put on a show last year for everyone, yet having Mladin with us this year takes the Seattle 100 to a whole new level. We’re beyond stoked.” The sixth annual Seattle 100 on Saturday, July 26th is the most anticipated track day in the Northwest roadracing and sportbike communities. The price of admission for 100 lucky participants is the commitment to raise a minimum of $500 for The NephCure Foundation, each participant’s contributions creating the event’s $100,000 fundraising goal. Last year, the average participant’s fundraising total was nearly $1,000 propelling the 2007 Seattle 100 to a record $148,000 in combined total donations. Sponsors like RV Town, Renton Motorcycles, Ride Motorsports, and Leo Vince certainly helped as well, and this year the event’s sponsors will again play a critical role. Not only will riders be rewarded with a full track day, food and entertainment, but they will be joined on the track by VIP’s like Hayes and Mladin. Alongside the list of great riders who have participated in the Seattle 100 are Speed Channel’s Greg White and Hollywood celeb David Alan Grier. This year, the Seattle 100 will see an all-star cast of returning riders in Josh Hayes, Jake Holden, and Danny Eslick, Holden having attended and supported each Seattle 100 since its beginning in 2003. Not only will participants have the opportunity to ride with these superstars, but they’ll have the good fortune to hang out with them at what past VIPs have described as a first-class charity event that is unlike any other trackday in the country. For anyone interested in participating, there are only 8 spots remaining for this year’s Seattle 100. These last remaining spots are likely to go soon. To register for the event, visit www.Seattle100.com. Sponsor inquiries, as well as items for auction at the event banquet, are welcomed and encouraged.
