From a press release issued by GSX-R Trophy Press Office: THE bargain ACU Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy race package just got even better thanks to the Crescent Performance Centre at Verwood in Dorset offering to supply and fit all race parts free of charge for Trophy riders. The initial deal gave riders a modified rear shock, forks, a micron silencer, Goodrich brake hoses, a steering damper, rear set foot rest kit and a spares kit, all of which could be fitted by Crescent Suzuki for £250 + VAT. Now, thanks to Crescent’s generosity the fee will be waived and on collection the GSX-R600 will be race ready. Dave Luscombe of the ACU said: “The deal we had in place for the GSX-R Trophy riders was good but now thanks to Crescent it is superb. Where else can you go racing for £12,900 all in? I have to say a big thank you to all the guys at Crescent who have made this happen, it is very encouraging for everyone involved” The GSX-R Trophy runs over 10-rounds two of which support the British round of MotoGP at Donington Park on 21st-22nd June. A further benefit of the GSX-R Trophy is riders who sign up for this extremely cost effective race package will own their GSX-R600 as soon as it is paid for in full. They can then enter additional race meetings or carry out testing as they see fit.
