K-Tech Equipped Riders Claim Opening Round Victory In World SuperSport The 2013 FIM World Superbike Championship season began this weekend at Philip Island in Australia. Veteran rider Kenan Sofuglu rode a determined race to claim his first win of the season on his MAHI Racing Team India Kawasaki ZX-6R with K-Tech Suspension 20DDS front fork cartridges and a 35DDS rear shock. Sofuglu is a three time World SuperSport champion. K-Tech equipped riders took four of the top six positions, with Fabien Foret, David Salom, and Luca Scassa taking fourth through sixth position at the checkered flag. K-Tech Suspension equipped riders competing in the FIM World SuperSport Championship all use the same 20DDS front fork cartridges that are available to racers and riders around the world. The 20DDS is a unique closed cartridge design with K-Tech’s Direct Damping System that offers incredibly precise damping control and front end feel, with a smooth and supple action at all speeds. Furthermore, all these riders are equipped with K-Tech’s 35DDS rear shock, a beautiful blend of CNC machined billet aluminum for low weight, and a similar Direct Damping System internally to keep the chassis balanced and provide smooth drive.
