Race Tech suspension equipped bikes earned the top 4 positions, making for a dominant first race showing for the 25mm Cartridge Kit and G3-S Custom Shocks developed specifically for the XR1200 machine. Team GEICO Powersports RMR Bruce Rossmeyer Daytona Racing’s riders (Danny Eslick, Jake Holden) took first and second place positions. After upgrading to Race Tech suspension early Sunday, Eric Stump made an improvement with his track times to finish third. On Saturday Stump was qualified in 6th position while on Sunday during the morning warm-up he maintained a podium pace and became the 3rd quickest on the track. Kyle Wyman finished fourth aboard his (GEICO Powersports RMR Bruce Rossmeyer Daytona Racing’s HD).
