Monterey MotoGP™ Event Weekend Schedule Announced Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix Jam Packed with Race Action and Activities MONTEREY, Calif., June 10, 2013 – With three days of heart-pounding racing as the world’s best motorcycle riders challenge one of the world’s most technically-demanding race tracks, the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, featuring the MotoGP™ World Championship roars back onto the Monterey Peninsula July 19-21, 2013 offering plenty of action on and off the track. MotoGP™ is the world’s premier motorcycling championship, with a 2013 season of 18 Grand Prix race weekends in 13 countries bringing together the world’s top motorcycle manufacturers like Yamaha, Honda and Ducati – plus an elite list of riders from every corner of the globe. No other road course in the United States tests these world champion riders with such a dynamic, heart pounding combination of 11 turns and dramatic elevation changes. Though it is early in the season, the battles seem to be amongst Yamaha Factory Racing’s Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi and the Repsol Honda riders Dani Pedrosa and rookie Marc Marquez. Others in the hunt for championship points include Cal Crutchlow (Monster Yamaha Tech 3), Stefan Bradl (LCR Honda MotoGP), Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) and his American teammate Nicky Hayden. The Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix featuring the MotoGP™ World Championship July 19-21 offers a variety of off-track action to complement the competition of world premier motorcycle racing with live music, rider Q&As and autograph sessions, stunt shows and plenty of kids activities including demo rides, the Strider Cup Adventure Zone and MY Museum’s Wheelie Mobilee in the family-friendly Yamaha Marketplace. Advance purchase general admission tickets for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, featuring the MotoGP™ World Championship start at $40 and a three-day general admission pass for only $90. Children 12 and under are free for general admission with a paying adult. Three-day motorcycle parking is $50.
