Sport Tire Services Inc. and 4-Time AMA Road Race Tunner Of The Year Danny Hull have joined forces in an effort to help WSMC racers with chassis set-up for their new Dunlop Tires purchased at Willow Springs Raceway December 16th, 17th and 18th. “We have never offered a service like this before to our Dunlop riders,” states Dennis Smith, President of Sport Tire Services Inc. of Paso Robles, California. “Basically we want to help our riders at Willow do two things–Go faster and do it easier with the proper set-up for our slicks and DOT’s.” Danny has worked on chassis set-up for the last 12 years, at the AMA National level (all on Dunlop Tires), for riders like, Scott Russell, Doug Chandler, Kurtis Roberts, Eric Bostrom, Aaron Gobert. “Danny has a wealth of knowledge and experiance with motorcyles at fast racetracks on Dunlop tires,” said Smith. “He’s going to bring both facets with him to the semi pro-level at Willow this month. “Remember Kurtis Roberts’ (Erion Honda) pass on Eric Bostrom (Kawasaki) in turn eight at Willow Springs that decided the championship in his favor at the end of the 600cc Supersport race at Willow in 2000? Danny Hull was Kurtis’ chassis guy! “We at Sport Tire look forward to working with him and seeing what effect he can have with lowering our riders’ lap times as well as making them more comfortable at speed.” Those interested in receiving help with their set-up that weekend, should contact Danny Hull or Dennis Smith at 805-434-4810 to reserve a time for this service. “If ever a guy was condidering a switch to Dunlop at Willow, this would be the month to do it!” concluded Smith.
