Fastrack Academy’s Success Fuels a Repeat for 2016
SAN DIEGO, CA – December 8, 2015 – With the closing of the 2015 Fastrack Academy, developments begin to build for an expanded second round in 2016. Fastrack Owner, Imad Samhat, elaborates: “We have raised the bar in the realm of safety, innovation and the approach in developing the rider skills. The Academy was an extraordinary program where the riders experienced tremendous learning breakthroughs, in addition to building priceless relationships and comradery. The Fastrack Academy was a first time exclusive rider development academy where professional racers Chris Fillmore, Chris Ulrich, Steve Rapp and Jeremy Toye lead their students to improve their riding skills. The three-month program also offered its students many prizes including a brand new KTMRC390 Cup Series motorcycle for first place, one year of unlimited riding access with Fastrack Riders for second place, three sets of Dunlop slicks for third place, One set of Chicken Hawk Tire warmers for fourth place, and a pair of Alpinestars gloves for fifth place.
This year’s winner, Anton Griessner, comments: “What an awesome experience, win or no win. Steve Rapp and Eric Bostrom kept giving me some very interesting insights and guided me through execution. Working with the Pros kept me very motivated and made the experience all more fun. Everyone seemed on top of their game so it’s difficult to say exactly what gave me the edge but I like to think it was my focus and overall effort.”
All students improved their lap times and reported priceless gain in overall knowledge which helps them ride safer and faster. Griessner, who was already an advanced level rider, himself improved in his consistency and his average lap times were reduced by a several seconds.
