FIM And Dorna Looking For New Control ECU Supplier For Moto2 World Championship

Supply of ECU for the Moto2 Class

Manufacturers with proven expertise in the field of Electronic Control Units for motorcycles are invited to tender for the supply of ECUs for Moto2 class machines.

The period of supply is for the three seasons 2019-2021 with the possibility of renewal for subsequent seasons.

The main technical features of the required ECU are:

1. Up to 4 cylinders (8 fuel injectors, 4 ignition coils).

2. Ride-by-wire management.

3. Inboard data logger.

4. One O2 sensor (better if inboard sensor controller).

5. Engine/chassis control strategies: gearshift management, traction control, anti-wheeling, launch control, engine braking, torque maps.

The deadline for submitting a tender is 9 November 2016.
