The FIM today announced amendments to the provisional calendar for the 2008 MotoGP World Championship. The events in Portugal and Valencia will be held a week earlier than originally scheduled, whilst Japan and Australia exchange their dates: Date, Circuit, Country March 9, Losail Circuit, Qatar March 30, Jerez, Spain April 13, Estoril, Portugal May 4, Shanghai, China May 18, Le Mans, France June 1, Mugello, Italy June 8, Catalunya, Spain June 22, Donington Park, England June 28, Assen, Netherlands July 13, Sachsenring, Germany July 20, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, USA* August 17, Brno, Czech Republic August 31, Misano, San Marino, Italy September 14, Indianapolis, USA September 28, Motegi, Japan October 5, Phillip Island, Australia October 19, Sepang, Malaysia October 26, Valencia, Spain * Only MotoGP class ** Saturday race
