From a press release issued by FIM: Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Changes to the Regulations The Grand Prix Commission, composed of Messrs. Carmelo Ezpeleta (Dorna, Chairman), Claude Danis (FIM), Herv̩ Poncharal (IRTA) and Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA), in the presence of M. Paul Butler (Secretary of the meeting), unanimously decided to introduce the following changes to the Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Regulations for immediate application. SPORTING REGULATIONS 1.13 Schedule 1.13.1 The Event schedule will be as follows: FRIDAY : Free practice Qualifying practice 125cc 09h00 Р09h45 13h10 Р13h40 MotoGP 10h00 Р11h00 13h55 Р14h55 250cc 11h15 Р12h15 15h10 Р15h55 SATURDAY: Free practice Qualifying practice 125cc 09h00 Р09h45 13h10 Р13h40 MotoGP 10h00 Р11h00 13h55 Р14h55 250cc 11h15 Р12h15 15h10 Р15h55 DISCIPLINARY AND ARBITRATION CODE 3.4 Protests and Appeals 3.4.1 Right of protest Any legal entity or any individual, rider, team, manufacturer, official etc. Рaffected by a decision taken under the authority of the FIM, has the right to protest against that decision. 3.4.2 Right of appeal The rules concerning appeals against FIM disciplinary decisions are: Against a decision of the Race Direction, to the FIM Stewards. No appeal may be lodged against a decision of the Race Direction entailing or not: Рa change of position. Рa ride through. Рa disqualification from the practice sessions or races by means of a black flag or black flag with orange disc. Рa fine for speeding in the pit lane. No appeal may be lodged against a decision of the Race Direction based on a photo finish. No appeal may be lodged against a decision of the FIM Stewards if they confirm the previous decision of the Race Direction. Their decision is final. Against a decision of the FIM Stewards if they do not confirm the decision of the Race Direction, to the CDI. The decision of the CDI shall be final. 3.4.3 Procedure and time limit for protests All protests must be submitted and signed only by the person directly concerned. Each protest must refer to a single subject only and must be presented within 1 hour at the latest after the publication of the results. Protests must be handed to a responsible official (Clerk of the Course, Race Director or Secretary of the Meeting) together with the security deposit of USD 800.- or equivalent. Teams and riders contracted to compete in the Championship may submit a letter of guarantee from IRTA in lieu of payment. A protest against the eligibility of a rider, team or a motorcycle entered, must be made before the start of the official practice.
