Abraham ready to ride in Jerez Czech MotoGP rider Karel Abraham will return on the track in Jerez after two weeks of recovery since he broke his right collarbone during Qualifying Practice in Austin. Abraham underwent surgery in Austin just few hours after he crashed out. After Monday´s examination at University Hospital in Olomouc, CZ Abraham decided to try to ride in Jerez. “I want to get back on the track as soon as possible. We will try to ride in Jerez and we´ll see what happens. The recovery is in progress, but my doctor found some complications. The biggest one is that the scar is overgrowing into the collarbone. I´m trying to rehabilitate, even it´s very painful. But I was assured that there aren´t any risk of aggravation of the injury. The most important is to avoid any crash on the hurt shoulder. I stay focused and hope to be able to ride whole weekend and to finish the race.”
