First WERA National Series Event Co-sanctioned By AMA Is This Weekend At Roebling Road

WERA Motorcycle Roadracing with AMA Co-Sanction will host Round #1 at the newly repaved Roebling Road Raceway in Faulkville, GA March 17th and 18th. Saturday will see the 4 Hour Bridgestone/WERA National Endurance take the track with 2006 Champions Vesrah Suzuki defending their title. The Bridgestone/WERA National Endurance Series has five classes including Heavyweight Superbike, Heavyweight Superstock, Mediumweight Superbike, Mediumweight Superstock and Lightweight Superbike. The Michelin/WERA National Challenge Series will take the track on Sunday with Sprint racing starting at noon. Riders entered so far include, Robbie Jensen, Dane Westby, Cyclespace.com riders Keith Marshall, Clint McBain and Skip Salenius, Vesrah riders, Mark Junge, Tray Batey, Chris Ulrich, Lee Acree and John Jacobi. The young guns will also be showing their talents riders like the Sassaman brothers, Payton and Brett, Tommy Aquino, Miles Thornton, Corey Rech and Ethan Ellis. WERA Motorcycle Roadracing has established itself as the proving ground for upcoming road racing talent and with the new Co-Sanction by AMA Racing the natural path to World Championships has been made easier for riders aspiring to take their abilities to the next level and beyond.
