Fitzgerald Glider Kits Is New Title Sponsor For TOBC Racing At Daytona 200

Fitzgerald Glider Kits, North America’s number one glider kit assembler, has partnered with TOBC Racing as their title sponsor for the 75th running of the Daytona 200 on March 12, 2016, and as a sponsor for the remainder of the 2016 and 2017 racing seasons.

TOBC Racing’s team owner Michelle Lindsay said, “We are elated to partner with Fitzgerald Glider Kits (FGK). We have used FGK since we bought our first tractor, as they are synonymous with amazing quality and service. We are lucky to find and work with such a great company, especially one who has such an appreciation for racing. Their timing is perfect too, as we will be fielding our own two-time Daytona 200 winner Danny Eslick and hosting French racer Cédric Tangre for the Daytona 200 this year.”

Lisa Fitzgerald, of Fitzgerald Glider Kits, said, “My family and I have always been a huge fan of racing. I learned to ride a motorcycle 5 years ago, and instantly I was hooked. I decided to get into racing 2 years ago and that’s when I met TOBC. At the racetrack, I was very impressed with their setup. Also, I noticed that they were hauling their race trailer with one of our glider kits. I instantly struck up a conversation with them to see how they enjoyed the truck. After that day, my friendship with TOBC carried on, and that’s what led to the sponsorship for this year and the next. TOBC is a great race team. Not just because of their great racers, but because they are genuine people. They are hard working and understand what it means to dream big and give it your all, even when times get tough. Fitzgerald Glider Kits is thrilled to be backing TOBC for the 2016 & 2017 racing season, and we wish them the best of luck.”

About Fitzgerald Glider Kits

Based in central Tennessee and founded in 1989 by brothers Tommy Fitzgerald Sr. and Ricky Fitzgerald, they sought to create a more fuel efficient rig that requires less maintenance and downtime. They did this by installing pre-emission engines into new class 8 trucks. Today, they are still family owned and operated and produce more than 4000 trucks per year, offering various models of the Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, and Western Star brands.
