Five Australian riders have been granted Wildcard entries into the prestigious 125cc class of racing at the upcoming Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island. MA announced last month that Blake Leigh-Smith, Glenn Scott and Rhys Moller had been given MA approval to appear at the event, which will take place from October 12-14. They have now been given the green light from the FIM. As well as these three riders, Brent Rigoli and Jackson Leigh-Smith Blake’s younger brother, have also both been granted Wildcard rides from MA which have been approved by the FIM. The weekend of riding will provide some of Australia’s best young talent the opportunity to strut their stuff on the international stage, in front of a parochial home-crowd.
