The Sarasota, Florida-based Dynoworks Race Team and Owner Donny Wright are making their AMA Pro Racing debut, while taking on the challenge of the AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com Supersport class at Daytona International Speedway March 15-17th. And they are doing so in unique fashion. While the Supersport class is well known as a breeding ground for future talent and often features a grid dominated by up and coming riders in their teens and early twenties on a specific brand of motorcycle, the Dynoworks Race Team will be competing not only on two different brands of motorcycles but its riders are far from the norm with the younger of the two being 43 years young! Team Owner Donny Wright is well known by many as the Owner of Dynoworks, a motorcycle tuning and service facility, as well as in his past role as a crew chief in the AMA paddock. He has also been a Championship-winning rider in the CCS Thunderbike class. Daytona will be his first time on an AMA Pro Racing grid, while his partner John Sackett is a former AMA Pro rider with a WERA National Championship and a couple of Daytona 200’s to his credit from more than 20 years ago. The Dynoworks Race Team is largely self-funded, however we must thank Don Wright of Tyler, Texas, as well as support in the form of racing equipment through Czaia & Gallagher’s www.HurtByAccident.com. Dynoworks Race Team is, as many teams are, currently seeking key marketing partners for the remainder of the 2012 Season.
