Fort Lauderdale, FL – (FMRRA) Florida Motorcycle Road Racing Association has released its inaugural race schedule for the 2016 season.
The Florida Motorcycle Road Racing Association is pleased to announce the official race schedule for the 2016 FMRRA Championship season with seven dates secured at Palm Beach International Raceway. The series is working with other facilities on adding potential additional dates to the schedule.
Opening the year with two race weekends in January, the series will then take an abbreviated hiatus during the months of February and March to return the start of April. May and June wrap up the race weekends before taking the full summer season off to stay away from the hottest months in Florida. Returning at the start of the fall season in September, and wrapping up the championship with the finale on October 22-23.
“We’ve been working hard to finalize the schedule with our host facility at Palm Beach International Raceway. While we are still working to add some additional dates, we wanted to get the schedule public because we know how important it is for the planning with teams, sponsors, riders, and fans”, said FMRRA Founder Tony West. “We are launching the series with seven dates at PBIR, and are working towards securing additional dates with other Florida facilities in the near future.”
